    gooseberry bush.
    Bath sore eyes in boric powder dissolved in water.
    Get a small flower named 'Eye Bright' and rub it to the sore eyes.
    A Pain in the Ear:
    Heat castor oil and put it on wadding and stuff it in the sore ear.
    Gather a number of poppies and make a poultice with them and put it to the ear.
    Rheumatism:
    Take a bath with Flowers of Sulphur in it and then get into bed.
    Head Ache:
    Take a pinch of dry salt.
    Jaundice:
    Boil a plant named mint in milk and drink the milk.
    Sting of a Nettle:
    Rub a dock leaf to the sting.
    Chilblains:
    Get a raw potato, cut it in two and rub it well into the hands.
    Rub paraffin oil to the chilblains.
