    In the Register of the Hospital of St. John Dublin, we find that William de Breusa gives to the Hospital all (Eccleci) Ecclestiastical benefices

    to a man named Dawson of Dublin.
    Proceedings were instituted against Sire Redmond's heirs.
    In March 1750 the Estates were sold to Mr. Barton of Bordeaux. It was not till 1767 that the house of Grove with demense etc. was sold to Barton.

  2. Knockkelly Castle
    The story of Ellen Maher is connected with the history of Fethard.
    Ellen Maher became friendly with a soldier named Jolly who was stationed at Fethard.
    She went to London, where she married a rich Jew.
    The Jew died and one day she accidentally met Jolly, her former friend, on guard at one of the Palaces.
    She made herself known to him, and they were married.
    They lived at Knockkelly Castle and the Jolly memorial may be
