  2. About a half a mile from Moyne there is a castle situated on very high grount in the town-land of Moyneard. Some time about eighteen ninety there were a story going around that there was a treasure hidden in the right hand corner. One night about twelve o'clock three men set out with picks and spades to dig for the treasure. When they had got down about five feet they came to a flat stone with an empty sound just as they were about to lift the stone they heard a terrible noise like thunder and there suddenly appeared
