    Near Moyglass County Tipperary there lived a man by the name of Barney Ryan. He died in the year 1917 at the age of 104. He made monuments, head stones and carved stones. The only tools he used were a chisel and mallet. He sold his to people far and near. He was working the day before he died. He earned his living on the trade.
