    There was a stone one time and three man made up their minds to lift it. Next day the men went to lift the stone. When they had it lifted, they saw a little box under it, and there there was crickets creeping out of it. One of the men went home, and went to bed. The other two men thought to have a laugh at him. They brought it home with them, and flung it in the window of the man that went home. When the man got up next morning, he found the box, and he opened it, and it was full of gold.

    Once upon a time there was a poor old woman going around, and one night she went into a chapel to sleep. In the middle of the night at about one o'clock a Priest appeared on the altar. He asked three times, is there anyone there to answer Mass.
