- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the "Land League Field". There is a bog near the field which is known as Hicks' Bog because the landlord of that place was named Hicks. He used to let this bog to the tenants all round the district. There is another field in Mr. William Coughlan's land in Mount Gabriel known as the Money Field. The reason it got this name was because silver coins were found there long ago. There is a field in Mr. Samuel Sweetnam's land in Raheenroe known as "the Burned Haggard." The reason it got its name was because all the corn was stacked in the haggard for threshing, and it caught fire and was burned the night before it was going to be threshed. There is afield in Mrs Dungan's land in Cussovinna known as Páirc na Carraige. How this got its name is because there is a big rock in the field.[-]Mount Gabriel - parish of Schull, Co. Cork.
