   The Crow makes its nest with sticks and if you climbed up to it their nests all the rooks of the land would be around you. The Cuckoo lays its egg in the nest of a Hedge-Sparrow.

   The following are the the names of wild birds in my district:- the Blackbird; the Thrush; the Robin; the Wren; the Greenlinnit; the Magpie; the Swallow; the Lark; the Lady Wag Tail; the Sparaw; the Hawk; the Curlu; the Ruck; the Cuckoo; the Wild Duck:
   The Cuckoo, and the Swallow, and the Fieldfare migrate.
   The Swallow builds its nest in eaves of houses, the sand Sawllow builds its nest in clifts near the sea. The Wren builds her nest in ditches, and the Robin builds her nest in ditches also.
