    Another old custom is not to allow a man to light his pipe or take a coal during churning time. And there several people when they are giaving away buttermilk they always put a pinch of salt in the milk.
    Owing to creameries which have sprung up all over the country during the last thirty years the people send the milk of every day where it is separated from the cream. The cream is churned and the separated milk is sent home to the people.
