3) My home district is Geevagh, there are many townlands in it. I live in the townland of Carrownadargney. It is in the barony of Tír-Eirill, and in the Co. Sligo. There are twenty six families in my townland. Most of the houses are slated, and the rest are thatched. The meaning of Carrownadargney is the quarter between the two Arigna's. There is only one wood in my district, and there are many streams. The name most common in our district is Conlon. There are many people over seventy living in it. Many people imigrated to America and many others places in former days. Some people can speak Irish and some can speak English. There are a hundred and five people in my townland. Some part of the land is good, but the other part of it is hilly and boggy. There were more houses in our district in former days than they are presently.4) There is no district as nice as the district that I live in. It's name has come down(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
