There was a very glib poet, over fifty years ago, around Enniscrone. His name was Martin Durcan. He could rhyme verses off at a moment's notice.
There was a woman living then who had a very good tongue and was very good about it, and when her temper was up she was very eloquent.
One day something "rose" her and she gave out at her very best to a sister in the house. She excelled herself, and felt quite proud of the successful way she had dealt with the matter.
