  2. Song about "Cornadrum" by Latimer an ex Sergeant in the R.I.C. who was stationed about 40 years ago in Arva. He is living still a native of Co Fermanagh Cornadrum is a picturesque town land on the Shores of Lough Gowna Co Longford about 4 miles from Arva & 6 miles from Granard.
    Cornadrum is in the Parish of Gowna formerly called Scrabby. Lough Gowna is about six miles long and varies from 1/2 to 3 miles in breadth
    It is a very irregular Sheet of water winding round the dense woods which contribute much to its scenery. This lake divides the Parish of Columcille from the Parish of Gowna or Scrabby. It is about 6 miles from here
