  1. There was a cloth mill on our farm for thickening cloth. The man's name was Duffey and he had two sons and one girl. When their father died, his two sons and the girl went away to America. This mill was turned by water and my father's father was working at this mill. When they went away to America they left the land and the mill with the Loughery's and my father's father bought it off them. When my grand father got the mill the wheel was all rotten and it fixed again. It is a hundred years since it stopped working. The place where the water came down on the mill wheel and it stands to this very day. The old walls is there also. When the three Duffey's were away for some time they came back and they wanted the mill and the two fields back but my old grand father would not sell it to the. They asked him where was the old mill and my old grand father said that the wheel was rotten and they went away to America again.
