- (continued from previous page)The old graveyards are all in use except the Quakers and the one in Knockinglass. There are headstones in them all. Some of them are very old. There are trees growing in them all. They are not round shaped.
The old church in Dwyers is now in ruins. It is a square church. The roof is gone off it long ago. The walls inside are now covered in ivy and there are several trees growing in it. It is believed that there is some family buried there is a small gate in the side of it. It is said that if the cattle eat the grass which grows inside the church they would die but what really happens is they eat the yew tree which is growing there and it is poisonous.
Moygosban church and graveyard are still in use. Both Catholics and Protestants are buried in it. there are trees growing in the graveyard.- Collector
