  1. The Drumlane, "Sons of OConnell were the unbeatable champions of our County for many years in the early part of the present century.
    The name of one of their players "the redoubtable Terry Maguire", is still mentioned in discussions about the famous matches played at Cuilca [?] near Bailieboro about thirty five years ago, against the champions of Meath (Castletown Harps). In those days there were seventeen men on either team.
