  1. A few years ago a woman washed a black and white linen bed tick and put it out on the hedge in her garden to dry. That night two young boys came along and took it off the hedge and went to a back road and they got into it. They made asses ears with the corners and they began to roll around the road. Two girls when returning frrom the village had to pass by and when they saw the asses' ears they ran back screaming to a neighbour's house and stopped there all night. They would not go along the road in the day until the boys told them what they had done.
