    Mr Doyle says it was about 60 years ago that this ship was wrecked. She was small + got into difficulties off the Blackwater Banks
    The Blackwater Lightship came to her aid and the crew jumped aboard safely except one man who got hurt. The vessel got her main sail torn by the bowsprit of the lighship and drifted inshore with the wounded man
    The Coast guards came to his help but to no avail
