  1. The church here is dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption. Long ago we had sports dances and music here on that day, but now it passes off very quietly.
    Down in Conna are the ruins of St. Patricks church. There were seven bishops buried there and there are seven head stones over them. Only the walls are standing but on the flag stone at the threshold of the door is a chalice cut out in stone.
