    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Gallows Hill got its name from a priest that was hanged there. It is said when he was about to be hanged spiders spun webs and hid him from the priest hunters. After a long search he was found and hanged on a tree nearby. That tree is bare since then in the year 1798 in Tore/Toaghar). Patrick Byrn's field known as the Bleach field because flax was bleached there.
    The horse park got its name because it was never used for anything only for grazing horses on.
    Rose Bunny's hill got its name from a girl named Rose Bunny who lived there.
    On Joseph Scally's land in Newtown there is a pond and it is said that a priest was buried there. When it is drying up it goes in the shape of a cross and when it is filling up it goes in the same way. Toar Tochar it means a causeway.
