There was a hedge school in Rosmead and John Cassells and Willie Clonan is living there where it was John Cassell's Grand Father was teaching there his name was John Cassell's he taught writing and reading. The pupils used to write on paper and they would write with a feather and ink. They would make the ink themselves. James Moore went to school to him and he lived in Rosmead he lived where Jimmy Shaw is living now and James Moore became a Bishop afterwards and he was Bishop Moore, Bishop of Florida. Many people went to school to him and it was a night school and they used to sit on the ground all in a row it was in a
