    In my district there are many fields with Irish names that the old people put on them to distinguish one from the other. Here are some of them.

    Cloíne Bhuidhe = the yellow meadow in Ballinlough as yellow grass grows in it
    Bur na gCorp = Bothar na gCorp as there is a churchyard in the field.
    Cuire Garra = Addinstown
    Garraí Bán in Pedleys field in Crowenstown
    Crocán in Addinstown
    Cuail Fuair in Terney's land in Crowenstown
    Naca Trench in Lisclogher
    Gearraici in Crowenstown
    Cille Mac Hue, in Addinstown
    Croc Mellon, in Killrush
    Cran Bán in Ballinlough
