  1. Matthew S Casserley who lives in Kilcumney has the cure of ring-worm. He rubs his hand to the ring-worm and says some prayers. There is another way to cure ring-worm with butter-cup roots. The way is to fry the roots of the butter-cup with unsalted butter. Then you pick out the roots and then you pour what is left on the pan into a jar or tin. After a week or so the ring-worm disappears.
