  1. My home district is Tullaghanogue. It belongs to KIlbride parish. There are twelve families in the townland. Mr Nicholson has the biggest estate and house in Tullaghanogue. It is called "Tullaghanogue House." All the houses are slated.
    There were more houses there in former times. You could see the tracks of houses in Newman's field. All the people who lived there went to America. The land is very good and hilly. There is a wood in the district. It is called The rath." The rath is triangular. There is a river dividing the townslands. A lot of stories are connected with rath and the townland.
