  2. There was a man named Paddy Butterly who used to play cards in Streamstown. One night as he came out of Byrnes (the house he played in) to go on to the road to go home he saw a strange little boy who attempted to play tricks on him. Paddy tried to catch him but he started running away. Then Paddy exclaimed, "If you are a hare now and I'll catch you. But the little fellow dissappeared over the
