There was a widow living in Walterstown, and she had a few acres of land, and the Landlord would come for the rent. This day he came for it and the poor widow had no money to pay him. Then the Landlord said "if you have not it again this day week, you shall be put out on the road". That was all right. That night it was very cold and a wrap came to the widow's door, and she said "come in". So the man came in and sat down at the fire. After a while he asked her for a cup of tea. So the woman gave it to him. While he was drinking it, the woman told him about the Landlord, but he said, I am Collier the Robber. So Collier gave the woman as much money as she wanted. The woman told him what time time he would come. So Collier watched the Landlord, and jumped out of the ditch and said ('hands up'). Then the Landlord puts up his hands, while Collier held the revolver in one hand and robbed him with the other hand. When he robbed him he went back to the widow with the money, and gave it to her and the woman was rich ever afterwards.
