    Weather Signs
    1. If you get up in the morning at day break and see all the sheep lying, the day is going to be fine. This has been called the shepherds weather-glass.
    2. When the stars blink, there is going to be a storm.
    3. When the cat scrapes the post or tree it is the sign of wind.
    4. When the dust is blown up off the road it is the sign of rain.
    5. When Daly's waterfall is heard clearly it is the sign of rain.
    6. When the midges bite it is the sign of rain.
    7. An evening red and a morning grey helps the traveller on his way.
    An evening grey and a morning red brings down rain upon his head.
    8. A wet Friday brings a wet Sunday.
    9. If a cat sneezes or a dog eats grass it is a sign of wet weather.
