  1. We sometimes play a game at the fireside at night and it is called Dicked, dicked, dock. You first draw clock like this:
You then start at any number at any number you like, and you say
    Hickory, dickory, dock,
The mouse ran up the clock,
    The clock struck one,
    The mouse is gone,
    Hickory, dickory, dock.
The number you stop at, you cross out. Then the next player goes round in the same way. When all the hours are crossed out, each player counts her own figures, and whoever has most is the winner.
    Any number can play it.
