  1. There is a lios in Broe mountain. There is a flag stone in the middle of it and a circle of white thorn trees around it. Once a travelling man who was very curious to know what was the meaning of the stone in the middle of it.
So he rooted the stone and saw steps like a stairs going down. He put his old dog down and he heard whining and yowling like the dog would be caught or something beating him. Then he heard voices say, " Put back the stone and dont meddle with us or you will be paid back for your foolishness" The man was wondering who spoke and he wasnt going away.
A few minutes after a host of little men came up out of the lios and they put down the stone themselves. One of them came up to the man and the man hit him with the stick he had and his hand fell down by his side lifeless and his hand was of no use from that day out.
