    stopped because the flood had risen over the road. The Creamery was flooded and there were pieces of land carried away by the flood. There was a hay barn and six tons of hay that was in the barn that was taken away also.

    In the year 1932 there was a big snow fall...

    In the year 1932 there was a big snow fall it was the biggest that was in Thurles for fifty years. It began to snow at about five o clock in the evening. That night the snow was about four feet thick. A farmer and his two sons went out looking for sheep that were lost in the snow. The farmer and one of his sons returned home safely. They thought that the other boy had gone home before them When the found out that he had not returned home they set out to look for him
