Dwyer's old castle is to be seen. When the Dwyers were put out of their castle by the Black and Tans they took with then all the money and valuable things they had and put them in a well near by and covered it. No one is able to find the well to get the treasure. The Dwyers had a great house cut out in the quarry. The furniture was all ma of stone. When the quarry was first bl up with gelignite the work-men that worked there after wards had hopes of finding some more golden instruments.
