    The ancestor of Lord Dunalley who is landlord and who lives near Nenagh was one of the soldiers in Cromwell's army.
    "Prittie" is Lord Dunalley's family name and legend tells us that this name was given him during Cromwell's campaign.
    One day Cromwell said to this soldier "You're a pretty little fellow" and since then descendants were called "Prittie".
