    About two miles from Cloughjordan is the "Bloody Toher" where a battle was fought by Long Anthony O'Caroll and the Williamites.
    The O'Carroll's smote the Williamites. An underground passage connects this with Emill Castle, then occupied by teh O'Carroll's. It is said that he had an eye in the "centre of the forehead and was dreaded by man.
