- There are two graveyards in this district. They are north of the school. There is a tomb in the island church-yard. There is also a graveyard called the Lisheen. The Lisheen is round in shape and is overlooking the river Shannon. There are many trees grown in it. The island grave-yard is only the ruin of a church. There are only one or two graves in the Church. There are nobody buried lately in this ruin. There is only one person that has a grave in this ruin. The name of the island is Inish Losky. The wall of the Lisheen looks very new. There are people buried in the Lisheen very often. A great number of the people has graves in it. There are some crosses in the grave-yard and they are made from iron. When there are anybody going to be buried in the grave-yard they take the longest way round to the grave.
