  1. Michael Keating's grandfather in Ardnaneen dreamed three nights in succession that he would get his fortune at Ball's-bridge near Limerick. Obeying his dream he got ready and went there. He spent some days walking up and down the road. One day he noticed that there was another man there also. They started a conversation with each other. Michael Keating's grandfather told the story of his dream to the stranger. "You foolish man" said the stranger. "I also dreamed that I would find my fortune under a bush in Ardnaneen, and I don't know where that place is".
