  1. To cure a toothache put a frog into your mouth until he croaks
To cure the whooping cough the child's parents should put the child over and under a mare donkey three times for nine mornings running. Another cure is the milk that a ferret leaves after him, and syrup made from spearment, water cress, and the of the woodbine.
To cure sore eyes wash them in a little well of water found in a rock when you are not looking for it. This is also a cure for warts.
Stye or wisp in the eye is cured by cold tea or by being rubbed with a wedding ring.
For thrush borax and honey is a cure. Another cure is to get persons who never saw their fathers blow their breath while fasting in the child's mouth.
