    that there were soldiers killed just in that spot and that these crosses were put there in remembrance of them.
    The Castle is very old it was built by the Norman Roches. It was a place of protection for the Normans and their successors in the time of war.
    The place is now occupied by O'Mahony's and these take care of the Castle and the surrounding land.
    No one lives in Cregg House because it is supposed to be haunted. Some people in the district say ghosts are seen every night after 12 o'clock going from the Castle to the house near it but I have
