    The ruin in this locality is Castle MacAuliffe.

    When Meelin grew up she became very beautiful. She was engaged to a Mr. OHierhly from Coisceim. On a certain day it was settled that they would be married on that night a carriage came to the door and there were white horses drawing the carriage, a man came in and danced with her, she disappeared and was not seen since.
