    the road and three fields N.E. is another fine gallan not recorded on the six inch plan. It has a uniform thickness of one foot three inches.
    Many other gallans are to be seen in the locality principally in Courtbrack and Killeen.

  2. March 1st 1938 Fairy Forts.
    There are four forts in my district, some in Ballyshoneen and the others in Matehy. They are generally called forts but some people call them lioses. One is in our own farm and the others are owned by Dan Donovan, Tim Regan and Denis Murphy. Three of them are within view of one another. They are all circular in shape
