    it and baked. Potato bread was made by peeling boiled potatoes. Then breaking them up and mixing them with flour and baking it into a cake. Both milk and water were used in kneading the bread. Bread was baked every day. Bread was mostly baked in a bastable pot long ago. There are no accounts of bread been baked before the fire.
