  1. Bird Lore.
There are different kinds of birds, such as the robin, sparrow, magpie, crow, swallow, jack-daw, and sky-lark.
The robin is a nice little bird. It builds its nest in a furze, then the mother bird lays five eggs.
The swallow builds its nest of hay and feathers in the eaves of houses. The magpies nest is made of hay and sticks. In a bush she makes it.
The crow which is the most common of all in this district. He is a black bird. It makes its nest of sticks and straw. In a wood she makes it.
The skylark builds his nest among the grass. It is never right to rob birds' nests.
