  1. Potato Crop
    We sow potatoes in our farm. We sow about half an acre of potatoes every year.
    We sow nearly the same amount every year. My father prepares the ground. We put manure on the land before we sow the potatoes.
    We sow the potatoes in drills. The land has to be ploughed and harrowed and drills are made with the plough.
    Old people say they saw wooden ploughs but they are not used now.
    Spades are not made in this district they are bought in shops.
