    A prayer said frequently during the day:-
    As I went out the Chapel-door I met the Blessed Virgin, seven mass-books in her hand seven bells ringing, seven songs singing. Open the gates of Heaven, shut the gates of Hell, let those poor souls pass into Heaven

  2. There are four corners on my bed
    And four angels on them spread
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
    Bless the bed the I lie on
    This prayer is said when going to bed.
    I see the new moon and the new moon sees me
    God bless the new moon and God bless me
    As God brought us safe into it
    God bring us safe out of it.
    On seeing a new moon, this prayer is said
