    Cure for an earache:- Black wool and olive oil or wool and whiskey.
    Cure for Itch:- The seventh son of a family to touch it. Leave it uncovered.
    Cure for Boils:- Put on the boils a poultice of linseed hot or loaf bread.
    Cure for cuts:- Put a cobweb or rib grass to them.
    Cure for a swelling:- Put on the swelling a poultice of chickenweed.
    Cure for a cough:- Drink boiled buttermilk and garlic before going to bed.
    Whooping Cough:- Take Ferrits leaings.
    Cure for chilblains:- Boil the bark of an oak tree and bathe chilblains in it.
