There is a field called Bellaronain and in that field two brothers were fighting with spades. A priest was going by and he went into the field to separate them and in the fight they killed the priest, and they killed each other too. The priest's ghost is supposed to walk up by that place yet, he wears long black clothes and a white collar.
Mr. Greenan who lives near Clones has a field called the "Mile Bush" it is called so because there is a lone bush in the middle of the field, and everybody knows that it is not wise to interfere with a lone bush, and it is also a mile from Clones.
Mr Leary has a field called Lough-hill because there is a a lough below the hill.
Mr Crowe has a field called the Briar field because there are Briars growing in the middle of it.
