  1. There is an old churchyard up at the glebe. The name of the townland in which the churchyard is situated is Killygone.
    There are many old tomb stones in it. Some of them have skulls and cross bones and bells, birds and many other things as well carved on them. There is also a vault in it too, and the Virgin Mary is carved on it. The ruins of the church is still there and it is covered with ivy.
    There is one small window in the gable of it. There are trees all round the graveyard. It is said that Saint Patrick laid the foundation stone of that church.
    The children who are not christened are buried in that graveyard. There is a girl buried in the vault in the old graveyard in Killeevan
