- There was a giant long ago who lived in Clones.
He was called the Dwarf giant and it took boots a yard long to fit him. His shoulders were so broad that he could not go through a door.
He was very quiet and he did not care for fighting.
There is a giants tombstone in McGuirks field and there is writing on it yet.
