    Patrick Mc Ginnity, Dromsheeny, Threemilehouse, Monaghan, for a pint of whiskey jumped six feet six inches high on the County road, and master Mc Cormilla jumped six feet.
    In the townland of Togan there was a man named James Mc Connon. One day he was in the town of Monaghan and he saw and he saw a man carying a two cwt bag of meal. And James said to the man I wish I had a bag of meal like that and the man said back to him I will buy you one if you carry it home which was a distance of four miles, he was allowed two rests on his way. He carried it home and won the bag of meal.
    Patrick Mc Guinnity, Drumsheeny, Monaghan, shoveled a footridge across two hedges and a lane, the width of the lane was elevn feet and the height of the hedges were five feet.
