    Ned Greenan. Glasdrummond, Newbliss, was out ploughing in the field about three miles from the hose and he carried three carts of corn to the field and rested once on his way.
    Mick McEniff, Arranmartin, Smithboro. P.O. who carried two carts of coal out of Monaghan a distance of six miles.
    Andy Dolan, Stonebridge, near Clanes, (Mounghan) Monaghan was the champion jumper, he could jump seven feet high.
    Pat Smyth, Mulkinavanog, Smithboro. P.O. lifted a forty stone sack of corn up a twelve step ladder.
    John Connolly, Monaghan, threw a sixteen-lbs shot thirty-three feet.
    James McConnon, Togar, Monaghan, carried (2) twenty stone of potatoes one hundred yards.
    Joe McEntee, Cabra, Threemilehouse, Monaghan. He was a famous singer he won several prizes.
