- The games I play at school are Tig.
Hounds and hares, Witch, Shopkeeper, Mother goes to market, Trades, Nuts and May, down in the carpets, colours, birds and fishes, lame dog, football, the farmer wants a wife.Tig is played by a group of children one being the catcher. There are dens made and the other children run from one den to the other while the catcher tries to catch them.Hounds and hares is played almost the same way. Two players are appointed for hounds and the rest are hares. The hares have dens and when one of the hares are caught by a hound he has to hold him if he is able till the other hound comes and tigs him then there are three catchers. For witch a row of players are placed along the wall and three are chosen(continues on next page)- Informant
