At the bottom of this brae is an old gate called "Jimmie's gate". It got its name because it belongs to Jimmie Kilfeather. "Glen Lodge" is situated near Strandhill.
It consists of a glen and a little stream of water
The "Rampart" is a place which was built to prevent the sea from covering the low land around it.
It is situated between Michael Keighron's house house and Jimmie MacGloins. The "Culleen crinns" are a row of steep hills situated in Clover hill.
The "Red Gate" is a sign-post erected to guide pedestrians and motorists way and to keep them from going astray while travelling.
Place-names are on many fields in my parish also such as, the "Long field," the "Holly field," the "field of the Fort," and the "Bridge field."
The "Long field is so-called because it is very long and it belongs to Michael Keaney.
The Rocky field belongs to the Master and is noted for it;s enourmous number of rocks.
