    The Old School
There is now an old ruin, situated near Kilmacowen graveyard.
    It has a slated roof.
There are two doors and two windows on it.
According to tradition we learn that it possessed but one close room.
We also learn that two teachers had charge over its scholars. Their names were Mrs. Devine and Miss Taheny
Pat McHugh, Kilmacowen, Sligo, aged 70 told this
